Wir waren gerade auf Besuch bei einem Schäfer, da erreichte uns die Nachricht, „Alert – Ongoing demoliton in Khashem ad Daraj al Hathalin“. Wir kannten dieses Dorf nicht, aber es war in unserem Bereich. Sofort hinfahren war nicht sinnvoll, denn die Zufahrtstrasse war gesperrt. So beendeten wir unseren Besuch in Ruhe.

Alsdann gingen wir auf die Suche nach diesem Dorf, das ganz abgelegen am Rande der Wüste war. Als ich das Dorf von weitem sah, fragte ich mich, wie können Menschen hier überleben. Woher bekommen sie Wasser? Und doch, am Strassenrand sah ich im ausgetrockneten rotbraunen Lehmboden spuren von Ackerbau. Unglaublich, auch hier kann Getreide angebaut werden.

    ich habe bei Andrea nachgefragt, wie es dir geht – und von ihr den Link zu dir erhalten!
